Putin calls for private, state cos to raise transparency of orders of domestic equipment
MOSCOW. Oct 27 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin called for both state and private companies to raise the transparency of orders of domestic equipment.
"It is necessary to raise the level of localization of technologies and equipment that are needed by Russian companies and needed by domestic clients. Of course, it is important to observe the known parameter of price and quality. And, in addition, it is necessary to increase the transparency of such orders by all subsurface users regardless of capital structure. I would ask today for a report on what has been done in this area," he said, opening the meeting of the presidential commission on the fuel and energy complex.
"Relevant financial mechanisms should play an important role in the development of import substitution of the equipment for the fuel and energy complex. In particular, tied credits, leasing and the subsidization of interest rates for producers of equipment. I ask participants of the meeting to express their opinions of the work of these instruments," the president said.
