Russian and Kuwaiti diplomats discuss preparations for Kuwait emir's visit to Russia
MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, who also holds the post of presidential envoy for the Middle East and African countries, and Kuwait's Ambassador to Moscow Abdulaziz Aladwani have discussed preparations for the Kuwaiti emir's visit to Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry has reported.
"Preparations for a visit to Russia by Emir of the State of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah were at the center of the discussion," the ministry said.
"The sides also discussed key issues on the regional agenda with a focus on the development of the military-political situation in Syria," it said.
Bogdanov met with the Kuwaiti ambassador at the latter's request, the ministry said.
