Veterinary watchdog bans meat imports from 2 Brazilian enterprises from Nov 9
MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) is banning imports of meat from two Brazilian companies starting November 9.
Imports of pork from the Cooperativa Central Aurora Alimentos (N SIF 3548) have been restricted due to tetracycline antibiotics found in it, Rosselkhoznadzor said.
Supplies of boneless beef from Minerva Industria e Comercio de Alimentos S / A (N 781) have been banned for this very same reason.
Products from these companies will be accepted if they were shipped before November 9 after passing laboratory control.
At the same time, Rosselkhoznadzor is allowing imports of poultry to Russia from the Avebom Industria de Alimentos company (N2677) starting on October 30.The Mataboi Alimentos S.A. Enterprise (N4029) can export beef to Russia starting October 27.
