Central Bank ready to raise project financing limit, govt counting on this - Dvorkovich
MOSCOW. Nov 11 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia is ready to raise the limit for its project financing program when the existing limit has been used up, Deputy Russian Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said in the State Duma.
"We expect volumes of funding to increase via all avenues. This also applies to the Industry Development Fun. Some additional amounts for the next few months have already been found," Dvorkovich said.
"The second is project financing. The Central Bank has signaled that it is prepared, when the first 100 billion rubles have been used, to increase the limit. We're also counting on that. It will make it possible to support a few dozen more projects," he said.
"Thirdly, some support is being provided via Vnesheconombank (VEB) and its subsidiary banks, I mean the Export Agency, Roseximbank and the necessary additional capital expenditures might also be carried out," Dvorkovich said.
In addition, he said, "the Central Bank, besides support via project financing, has also agreed to allocate, at concessional rates, resources for the leasing of high-tech equipment, including in the machine-tools industry, and in small and medium business," he said.
