Nestle launches Kitkat chocolate production line at Perm factory for 1.4 bln rubles

PERM. Nov 11 (Interfax) - The Nestle company started up a new production line for Kitkat chocolate bars at a factory in Perm, the company's press service said.

The volume of investments in the project were 1.4 billion rubles.

The capacity at the factory as a result of the project's implementation grew to 30,000 tonnes per year.

Nestle owns more than 460 factories in many countries the world over. The company portfolio includes Nestle, Nescafe, Kitkat, Gerber, Maggi, and other brands.

In Russia Nestle owns a confectionary factory in Samara, a factory for children's and quick cereals in Vologda, a factory for the production of culinary production in the Vladimir region, a pet food factory for pets in the Kaluga region, a confectionary factory and ready-to-eat breakfast production factory in Perm, a factory for producing ready-made coffee in the Krasnodar region, and three production sites in the Moscow region (a bottled water factory, a culinary product factory and an ice cream factory).
