South Africa awaits Putin's visit in 2016 - South African foreign minister
MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - South Africa's president has invited his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to visit his country in 2016, South African Foreign Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane has said.
Speaking at the start of talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Nkoana-Mashabane noted that President Putin had not visited South Africa for some time.
Hopefully, the Russian leader will consider his South African counterpart's latest invitation to visit South Africa in 2016, she added.
