Ruble's volatility not creating risks for Russian financial sector anymore - Nabiullina

MOSCOW. Nov 13 (Interfax) - The volatility of the ruble is not creating risks for the Russian financial sector anymore, Central Bank head Elvira Nabiullina said at the State Duma on Friday.

"It has been falling since the start of the year and is not holding risks for financial stability anymore," she said.

High volatility was observed due to external factors, Nabiullina said.

The impact of the weakening of the ruble on inflation is also falling, this is positively affecting inflationary expectations and, correspondingly, the behavior of economic agents, she said.

"Foreign conditions remain unfavorable, but our economy is gradually adapting to them," she said.
