Changes are being made to G20 statement on terrorism due to Paris events - Russian Sherpa to G20
ANTALYA. Nov 15 (Interfax) - The leaders of the G20 countries will adjust their statement on terrorism in connection with the tragedies in Paris, Russian Sherpa to the G20 Svetlana Lukash said.
"We have approved a joint statement on terrorism, it has to be approved by the leaders, they will make their amendments," Lukash told reporters.
She said the statement will be issued today or after the summit.
"I am confident that the leaders will begin with condolences and certain conclusions on this matter," she said.
She said the statement on terrorism will not contain "specific opinions or proposals on certain countries, regions or groups."
"It will most likely be a general approach to terrorism issues, the settlement of the situation with refugees," she said.
