Novak: signing agreement on Turkish Stream is not long process
ANTALYA. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak called the signing of an agreement on Turkish Stream not a long process.
"It is difficult to say, this will depend upon the text of the agreement. But I don't think that this is a long process," he told journalists, answering a question about the timeframe for signing a document.
"Now the government [of Turkey] will be formed, work will continue," the minister said.
"I doubt [that the signing of an intergovernmental agreement is possible] in December, because it is even difficult to do this with internal government procedures. It is important now to understand that when Turkey appoints its minister, the minister and I will continue [to work]," Novak said.
He expects that the minister will be appointed by the end of November or the start of December.
