Putin notes continuity of Ankara's presidency in G20 on several Russian initiatives
ANTALYA. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the continuity of Turkey's presidency in the G20 in implementing Russian proposals to prevent tax evasion and on infrastructure projects.
"We are very actively working within the G20 at the expert level to implement our [Russian] proposals in St. Petersburg related to the prevention of tax evasion and the reduction of the tax base," Putin said on Monday, following the G20 summit in Turkey.
He said that Russia has worked out the range of measures and has enacted the federal law on controlled foreign companies. "This is within those agreements, which were reached in St. Petersburg," the Russian president said.
Putin said that at the expert level the active work has been conducted with representatives of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and an action plan has been drafted on this issue.
"In this regard, we see the continuity, as well as in the investment issues, particularly in relation to infrastructure projects," the Russian president said.
