Russian, Lebanese foreign ministers to discuss situation in Syria, bilateral agenda
MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with his Lebanese counterpart Gebran Bassil on Wednesday.
"At the talks on November 18 the heads of the foreign political agencies of the two countries will discuss in detail topical issues of the international and regional agendas, including developments in the Middle East and North Africa with an emphasis on the situation in Syria, the problems of countering new challenges and threats, as well as bilateral cooperation between Moscow and Beirut," the Russian Foreign Ministry information and press department said in a commentary.
