Russian president, king of Jordan to discuss fight against ISIL at meeting in Sochi
MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax) - The negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and King of Jordan Abdallah II, who will pay a working visit to Russia at the invitation of the Russian president, will take place in Sochi on November 24, the Russian presidential press service reported on Monday.
"During the meeting, Vladimir Putin and Abdallah II will exchange opinions on vital international and regional issues, including the situation in the Middle East. Specifically, the leaders will speak in detail about the Syrian crisis, primarily the countering of the terrorist threat coming from Islamic State," the report says.
The meeting participants are also expected to discuss key aspects of bilateral cooperation and prospects of its development, the press service has reported.
