Rosneft in July 2015 repays loan for 22 bln rubles from Russian bank
MOSCOW. Nov 25 (Interfax) - Rosneft in July 2015 finally repaid a long-term loan, which was raised from a Russian bank, the company said in a report.
The sum of the repayment in ruble equivalent was 22 billion rubles (according to the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of Russia on the date of the payment) with account of interest.
"During the first nine months of 2015, the Company attracted other short-term floating rate borrowings under repurchase agreements for its own corporate bonds. As of September 30, 2015 the Company's liabilities under those transactions were equivalent to 250 billion rubles (at the CBR official exchange rate as of September 30, 2015). Its own corporate bonds were used as an instrument for those transactions," Rosneft said.
"In the third quarter of 2015 the Company entered into a long-term river transportation services contract under "take or pay" conditions through 2028 and recognized financial lease liabilities in a total amount of 15 billion rubles," the report said.
