Egyptian ambassador to Russia hopes for Russians' return to country's resorts
MOSCOW. Dec 1 (Interfax) - Egypt's Ambassador to Russia Mohammed El-Badri hopes that Russian tourists will soon be able to visit resorts in Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh again.
"We hope that in the very near future Russian tourists will be able to return [to the resorts] and holiday in Egypt," El-Badri told reporters on Tuesday.
He added that last year Egyptian resorts welcomed 3.2 million Russian tourists.
"Our trade and economic relations with Russia have two wings: trade and tourism," he said.
