Econ Ministry to submit proposals on services ban for Turkish cos by Dec 10
MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - The Russian Economic Development Ministry will submit proposals to the government on bans on Turkish companies in the sphere of services, including tourism and transport, by December 10, Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Likhachev told reporters.
"We're due to submit a list of services from Turkey that are subject to restrictions by December 10," he said. "The government will make the decision, but we'll be proposing a broad and sensitive set of bans," he said.
"We're talking about transport, tourism, several other services," he said.
The bans will be imposed on companies domiciled in Turkey. Asked what he meant by bans on services in the sphere of tourism, he said: "The provision here of tourism services - holidays, tours - by Turkish companies."
