Russian envoy hopes for positive changes in Moscow-EU relations in 2016
BRUSSELS. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Russia's Permanent Representative to the European Union, Vladimir Chizhov, wishes for relations between Russia and the EU to return back to normal next year.
"I sincerely hope that 2016 will bring about positive changes in our relations. And we will be able to put mutually advantageous interaction between Russia and the European Union back on the path of normal development," the high-ranking Russian diplomat said in an interview with Interfax in Brussels.
Chizhov also noted he observes that the "understanding" of Russia's partners in the EU that "things cannot go on like this any longer is growing."
