U.S. not showing readiness for full-fledged coordination with Russia in fight against ISIL - Russian Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - Moscow said that the United States is still not showing readiness for full-fledged cooperation with Russia in the fight against ISIL (a terrorist organization banned in Russia).
"Unfortunately, even after the terrorist act against the Russian passenger jet which was perpetrated on October 31, the United States is not showing readiness to establish full-fledged coordination with us in the fight against ISIL," the Russian Foreign Ministry information and press department said in a commentary ahead of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry's visit to Moscow.
"Besides, though the defense agencies of the two countries have signed a memorandum on ensuring flight security by combat aviation in the Syrian skies, Washington, which has assumed responsibility for the actions by the whole coalition it leads, did not ensure the implementation of the relevant provisions of this document by its ally Turkey," the commentary said.
