U.S. Dragon resupply ship's launch delayed for month - source
MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The launch of a U.S. Dragon resupply ship to the International Space Station (ISS) has been delayed from January till February 2016, a source in the rocket and space industry told Interfax-AVN on Tuesday.
"The launch was scheduled for January 8; it is now moved to February 8. The delay will allow the station crew to go on a spacewalk in the middle of January for repairing the U.S. power supply system," he said.
The private Dragon spaceship first docked with the ISS in 2012.
The first manned Dragon flight mission is planned for early 2017.
