Sale of Rosneft shares in 2016 plan, but no consensus yet - Ulyukayev
NAIROBI. Dec 16 (Interfax) - The sale of some of the stakes in Rosneft and Sovcomflot is in the government's plan for 2016, but there's no consensus in the government regarding Rosneft, Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said.
"I think the privatization plan ought to be fulfilled. Both Rosneft and Sovcomflot are in the actual privatization plan, nobody's removed them, so the sale ought to be arranged," he told reporters in Nairobi.
Commenting on a statement by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov that the sale of 19.5% of Rosneft ought to bring the budget 500 billion-550 billion rubles in revenue next year, Ulyukayev said the stake was worth more like 580 billion rubles. "Rosneft's shares in rubles are worth more than when the IPO took place," he said.
Asked whether there was a consensus within the government regarding the sale of a Rosneft stake in 2016, he said: "No, the sale hasn't yet been agreed on."
