Putin: Russians, Europeans, Americans, Chinese do not want more countries to have mass destruction weapons
PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY. Dec 20 (Interfax) - Russia, Europe, the United States and China are unanimous in the issues related to the proliferation of nuclear weapons and oppose a rise in the number of countries which possess nuclear weapons, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We nevertheless have a full consensus with the Europeans, Americans and our Chinese friends on the issues of proliferating the weapons of mass destruction. No one wants a rise in the number of countries, which possess nuclear weapons," the president said in an interview in a documentary, "World Order," of the Rossiya-1 (VGTRK) television channel.
