Mechel extends CEO Korzhov's term of office by another year

MOSCOW. Dec 23 (Interfax) - Directors at the Mechel coal and steel group have extended the term of office of Chief Executive Officer Oleg Korzhov by another year, effective from January 1, the company said in a statement.

Korzhov has been CEO January 1, 2014. He replaced Yevgeny Mikhel, who had been CEO since 2010, but who left Mechel of his own accord at the end of 2013.
