Transaero didn't keep planes in normal state, new debts discovered - Gref
MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - Transaero , in violation of leasing contracts, did not keep its planes in a normal state and new debts have been uncovered at the airline, German Gref, the head of Sberbank , told the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
"Planes, in contravention of the leasing contracts, were not kept in a normal state. The overwhelming majority of them are not in working order. There are large debts to companies to which aircraft and engines were handed over for servicing, and we are finding newer and newer debts. This is of course very unpleasant," Gref said.
