Russian current account surplus widens 20% to $52.8 bln in 9M - Central Bank

MOSCOW. Dec 31 (Interfax) - Russia's current account surplus widened 19.7% to $52.8 billion in January-September 2015, from $44.1 billion in the same period of 2014, the Central Bank said in an adjusted balance of payments estimate, posted on its website.

The current account surplus was $7.5 billion in Q3, down from $15.9 billion in Q2 and $29.3 billion in Q1 2015. The Q1 and Q2 data were also adjusted.
