RVSN plans to double number of ICBM test launches in 2016

MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) plan to increase the number of test launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) in 2016, RVSN spokesman Major Dmitry Andreyev told Interfax-AVN on Sunday.

"The plans for 2016 include 16 ICBM launches, which envisage flight tests of promising samples of weapons and control over the technical readiness of missile systems already put into service," he said.
