DPR says Ukrainian military shelled Shyroka Balka village
MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on the village of Shyroka Balka, located to the west of Horlivka, overnight into Tuesday, the Donetsk news agency has reported, citing a source in the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on Shyroka Balka village at around 10:30 p.m. on January 11," the source said.
They were using mortars, grenade launchers and small arms, firing some ten 82mm mines, he added.
