Ukrainian president may visit Washington in late March

KYIV. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko may visit the United States in March, although no final decision has yet been made on the matter, Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Valery Chaly said.

"I can announce now (although this is not final yet): we are thinking about planning and preparing Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's visit to Washington at the end of March," Chaly said in a Voice of America program.

Poroshenko's visit implies "a whole program," Chaly said. In particular, the Ukrainian leader is expected to take part in a nuclear security summit and "in additional meetings."
