No Russians harmed in explosions in Indonesia - Russian embassy
MOSCOW. Jan 14 (Interfax) - No Russians were harmed in the explosions in Jakarta, Roman Romanov from the consular department of the Russian embassy to Indonesia said.
"We are maintaining close contact with the Indonesian law enforcement agencies; we have not received any information regarding possible Russian casualties, and we are continuing to monitor the events," Romanov said in a program aired by Channel One on Thursday.
The explosion happened "in a central district of Jakarta, near a souvenir shop, there are also a number of foreign embassies there, it is a central district," he said.
"We can recommend our citizens to take all measures for the provision of their own security," he said.
In all, six explosions have occurred in Jakarta, and six people have been killed.
