Sweden extradites suspected drug dealer to Russia

MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - A man suspected of dealing drugs in large amounts has been extradited from Sweden to Moscow, the Russian Interior Ministry press service has said.

The ministry identified the man as Mikhail Nebasov, born in 1984, wanted by the Interpol at the request of the Federal Drug Control Service department for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region on the counts of dealing large quantities of amphetamine.

"Today, the Swedish law enforcement authorities met the extradition request of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office and transferred the wanted man to officers of the Interpol National Central Bureau at the Russian Interior Ministry and the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service for his extradition to Moscow," says a report published on the ministry website.
