Russian GDP in 2015 drops 3.9% by preliminary estimate - Ulyukayev
BEIJING. Jan 16 (Interfax) - According to a preliminary estimate, Russia's GDP in 2015 dropped by 3.9% in comparison with 2014, Russian Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev told reporters in Beijing on Saturday.
"Rosstat [Russia's federal statistics agency] gave us a preliminary estimate at 3.9%," he said.
"I think it will be somewhere around 3.8-3.9%. There is no final figure yet," he said.
It was reported that in 2014 the Russian economy grew by 0.7%, according to Rosstat's latest estimate.
