USA to support Georgia on path of integration with EU and NATO - Foreign Minister Janelidze

TBILISI. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili at a meeting in Davos with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland discussed cooperation between the two countries, Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze told the press on Thursday.

The meeting took place in the wings of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"We also discussed the possibility of a visit of the prime minister to the U.S. Mrs. Nuland assured us that cooperation will continue in the framework of the Charter of Strategic Partnership signed by the two countries," Janelidze, who took part in the meeting, said.

"The U.S. continues active support to the integration of Georgia with the European Union and NATO," he said.
