Kremlin declines to comment on reports about private life of Putin's ex-wife

MOSCOW. Jan 26 (Interfax) - The Russian president's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, does not comment on the private life of the head of state, nor of his former wife.

When asked by journalists to comment on the media reports that the president's ex-wife Lyudmila probably got married, Peskov said: "You said correctly that Lyudmila Alexandrovna is an ex-spouse. You know that Vladimir Vladimirovich and Lyudmila Alexandrovna are divorced. Accordingly, in this particular instance, I am not in a position to say anything about Lyudmila Alexandrovna, about her private life."

When asked about the president's relationships, his press secretary said: "I am not going to break traditions and talk about the president's private life. We never did so and never will."
