Ukraine's Armed Forces opened fire on Donetsk district, militiaman wounded
MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian military opened fire last night on the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, which is close to the frontline, injuring one person, the Donetsk News Agency has reported.
"The attack lasted three hours. It was especially intense from 10:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. Judging by the sound, they used firearms and large-caliber mortars. One 22-year-old militiaman, a resident of the Petrovsky district, was injured," the agency quoted Maxim Zhukovsky, the head of the Petrovsky district administration, as saying.
Zhukovsky said no information on the destruction and civilian casualties has been received, as of now.
