Duma Chairman Naryshkin to run in parliamentary elections

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Russian State Duma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin has confirmed his intention to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Russia.

Asked by TV host Sergei Brilev whether he has decided to run in the elections to the Duma in a Saturday news program on the Rossiya-1 (VGTRK) TV channel, Naryshkin replied, "Yes."

The elections to the Duma are scheduled for September 18, 2016.
