Kyrgyz PM to personally control transportation of bodies of Kyrgyz citizens killed in fire in Moscow
BISHKEK. Feb 1 (Interfax) - The Kyrgyz government will compensate for the expenditures in the transportation of the bodies of Kyrgyz citizens killed in a fire in Moscow to their home country, a representative from the Kyrgyz government's press center told Interfax on Monday, referring to the State Migration Service.
"The government will compensate for the expenditures related to the transportation of the bodies of the people who were killed in the fire in Moscow," he said.
The compensations will be paid after the submission of fiscal documents evidencing the expenditures in the transportation of the bodies of citizens killed in a fire in Moscow on January 30, he said.
"Prime Minister Temir Sariyev is personally controlling the issue," the press service said.
On Monday, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev sent his condolences to the families and friends of Kyrgyz citizens, who died in the fire in Moscow.
According to the presidential press service, the head of state has ordered to provide material aid to the families of the dead, and has instructed his staff to control the issue.
Atambayev also told the government to ensure the transportation of the bodies to the home country.
The fire in a sewing workshop on Stromynka Street in Moscow, broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning, and killed twelve people, including a child.
At first, Investigative Committee units opened a criminal case on the counts of 'murder of two persons or more'. The charges were later changed to 'intentional destruction of property causing death by negligence'.
The Kyrgyz Embassy to Russia said that the fire in the sewing workshop in Moscow killed eight citizens from the Kyrgyz Republic, one of them a minor, two people born in Kyrgyzstan, and two citizens from the Republic of Uzbekistan.
