Rosneft brings APG utilization at Vankor to 95% in 2015
MOSCOW. Feb 1 (Interfax) - Rosneft (MOEX: ROSN, as planned, in 2015 brought the level of utilization of associated petroleum gas (APG) at the Vankor field to 95%, the company said in a statement.
In 2014 this figure was 80%.
In 2015 gas production of JSC Vankorneft, the subsidiary of Rosneft, amounted to 9.75 billion cubic meters (bcm), which is 1.6 bcm more than the figure for 2014. Gas amounting to 5.8 bcm was given to Russia's United Gas Supply System, which is two times more than a year earlier. "Supplies of additional volumes of gas are produced according to long-term agreements with large industrial consumers of the Urals and Volga Federal Districts, which provides the effective sale of the company's gas on a falling market," the oil company said.
Besides supplies to consumers, 2 bcm of APG was used in the system of reservoir pressure maintenance. Gas also was used for generating power for the its gas turbine thermal power plant with a capacity of 200 MW.
The production of oil and condensate at Vankor amounted to 22 million tonnes in 2015, drilling amounted to more than 205,000 meters.
Vankorneft carries out the development of the Vankor oil and gas condensate field, which is located in the northern part of the Krasnodar territory. Industrial production of Vankor began in August 2009. Since 2013 Vankorneft has been the operator for the development of new fields of the Vankor cluster: the Suzunskoye, Tagulskoye and Lodochnoye fields, which are located in the immediate proximity of the Vankor field. Since 2014 production drilling has been carried out at Suzunskoye as well as the construction of the Suzun-Vankor inter-field pipeline.
Rosneft signed an agreement with Lukoil until 2030 on the pumping of 94 bcm of gas from the Vankor field with the subsequent pumping to the Yamburg gas measuring station and transfer to the Gazprom's system. The maximum annual transportation of gas since 2015 should amount to 5.6 bcm. The total length of the operating gas transport system of Lukoil is 274 kilometers.
