Moscow proposes determining organizations subject to ceasefire in Syria - diplomat
MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Before working out a ceasefire in Syria, it is crucial to determine who can be regarded as terrorists and who cannot, says Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov.
"First, it's necessary to determine to whom this ceasefire will be applied. If we talk about terrorist organizations, our position here is obvious: we will continue to provide assistance to the Syrian government in combating terrorism," Gatilov told journalists in Geneva.
"It's necessary to draw a line between the organizations that would be subject to a ceasefire and those to which it won't be applied," Gatilov said.
