N. Korea issue has no military solution, there is a need for negotiations - Kosachyov
MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - The launch by North Korea of a ballistic missile poses not so much legal, but military danger, but the problem can only be resolved through negotiation, Konstantin Kosachyov, the head of the Federation Council committee on international affairs, said.
"In this situation, one can and should act through resuming negotiations, multilateral in the Sextet and bilateral between North Korea and the U.S. (if that is possible). There can be and there should be o military solution to the historical problems of the Korean Peninsula in general and the specific persisting problems of North Korea in particular by definition," Kosachyov said on Facebook.
