Rostec planning to privatize Russian Helicopters, two other assets

MOSCOW. Feb 8 (Interfax) - Rostec is planning to privatize Russian Helicopters and two other assets, Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern (KRET) and optical electronics form Shvabe, the state corporation's chief, Sergei Chemezov, told reporters on February 6.

"Not this year, but in general, we're talking about KRET and Shvabe, and Russian helicopters, too, but we might not manage it this year," Chemezov said.

He said Rostec had not yet made an exact valuation of its assets.

Chemezov said Rostec was holding negotiations with foreign partners on their possible involvement in the privatization of Russian Helicopters. "We are holding negotiations with a number of foreign partners. Perhaps we could offer some 25% [in Russian Helicopters] to [foreign] strategic partners and some to our individual Russian investors," Chemezov said.
