Lavrov has heard no statements from UN humanitarian agencies on civilian deaths in Syria caused by Russian air strikes
MUNICH. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said he is not familiar with statements from UN humanitarian agencies on civilian deaths in Syria caused by the activity of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
"I have not heard such statements from UN humanitarian agencies, so I cannot say that they are lying," Lavrov said at a press conference after a meeting of the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) in Munich.
He added that the ISSG meeting touched upon the Aleppo subject.
"We have spoken about Aleppo a lot today; accusations have been brought us, and I will not repeat them, they are being brought daily," the minister said.
