Moscow to host security conference in late April
MOSCOW. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Moscow will host a high-level international security conference on April 26-29, 2016, according to a Russian government resolution.
"To hold a high-level international security conference in Moscow on April 26-28, 2016," says the document published on the official legal information portal on Friday.
The government ordered the Russian Defense Ministry to form an organizing committee, which will prepare and hold the conference, and to approve its composition. Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov is appointed as the organizing committee chairman.
The Foreign Ministry is ordered to provide the issue of visas to conference participants, guests and the media, in line with the established procedure and without visa fees.
The Moscow Security Conference is an annual spring event. The fifth conference will be held this year.
