Cairo and Moscow will hold new round of consultations on air travel - diplomat

MOSCOW. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Egypt expects to conduct another round of consultations with Russia on the resumption of air travel in the near future, Egyptian ambassador to Moscow, Mohamed El-Badri, has said.

"Consultations continue, and we expect to hold another round of consultations shortly. We are cooperating with the Russian side on the matter, but all of this requires time," he told journalists on Friday.

"I believe that we will reach certain results in the near future as a consequence of consultations with the Russian side," the ambassador said.

He added that the previous round of consultations with Russia was held in mid-January in Egypt.
