No humanitarian issues in Syrian areas controlled by Damascus - Syrian Ambassador to Russia
MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riyad Haddad denies presence of any humanitarian problems in the areas controlled by the Syrian government forces.
"These words actually have nothing to do with the truth. There are no humanitarian tragedies for people in the territories currently under the control of the government forces," Haddad said in an interview with Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) television.
Humanitarian cargoes do not get delivered to these areas, he said.
"The fact is, terrorists seize them to cause suffering to the people," said the head of the Syrian diplomatic mission.
