Lukoil not planning to bid in privatization of oil refinery in Kazakhstan
MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Lukoil is not planning to acquire oil refining assets abroad, the Russian oil company's vice president, Vladimir Nekrasov told reporters.
"We have enough. We certainly won't be acquiring anything abroad," Nekrasov said when asked if the company is interested in the privatization of an oil refinery in Kazakhstan.
He said the company's oil refineries abroad earned $200 million in 2015, and they could earn more this year. "They already earned more than $50 million in January," Nekrasov said.
He said the refining margin at Mediterranean refineries is currently $7 per barrel.
