Egyptian specialists to check 11 Russian cos
MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Specialists form the Egyptian veterinary service will perform an audit of 11 Russian enterprises for the production of beef, poultry meat and ready meat products on February 24-March 4, Rosselkhoznadzor said.
The visit will take place "as part of a complex of measures for the promotion of Russian livestock products on foreign markets." Egyptian specialists are familiar with the system of control for the production of beef, poultry meat and ready meat products.
The companies that they are inspecting are located in the Stavropol territory, Penza, Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh and Kaliningrad regions, and also in the republic of Mari El.
As a result of the inspections, a decision will be made about the possibility of exports to Egypt of Russian livestock products.
