Russian Defense Ministry: 14 ceasefire breaches by militants registered in Syria in past 24 hours
MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax-AVN) - The center for reconciliation of the parties in conflict in Syria has registered 14 attacks on residential quarters and government troops' positions in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.
"Three in Damascus, two in Quneitra, two in Latakia, one in Hama and one in Daraa. The most attacks (five) were registered in Aleppo," an information bulletin posted on the Defense Ministry website says.
In all cases, illegal military units were present in territories located within the areas whose coordinates were provided to Russia by its U.S. partners on February 27, 2016, the report says.
The Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Air Force have not delivered any strikes on the military units that have supported the ceasefire and have reported information on their location to the Russian or U.S. reconciliation centers, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
