Kremlin not commenting on initiative to make employers insure staff against bankruptcy
MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - The Kremlin is not commenting on a proposal aired in the Federation Council to force employers to insure their staff against a firm's bankruptcy.
"I don't know anything about this. It would probably be better to ask the senators," Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president's spokesman, told reporters.
Reports have said a bill on a bankruptcy insurance levy on employers has been introduced to the State Duma and that Andrei Klishas, chairman of the Federation Council's Constitutional Committee, was behind the initiative.
