Russian Security Council secretary discusses terrorism, military-technical cooperation in Singapore
MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - The joint fight against terrorism and military-technical cooperation have been highlighted during meetings and negotiations held by Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev in Singapore, the press service of the Russian Security Council told Interfax on Monday.
Patrushev met with Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, and Home Affairs and Law Minister Kasiviswanathan Shanmugam.
The consultations between Nikolai Patrushev and Teo Chee Hean focused on Russian-Singaporean cooperation in maritime security issues, the fight against terrorism, defense and military-technical cooperation, and interaction in ASEAN, APEC and other organizations. They also conferred on prospective interaction in the Arctic.
