MOSCOW. March 16 (Interfax) - E.ON Russia saw net profit drop 18.3% to 13.79 billion rubles in 2015 from 16.88 billion rubles in 2014, the company said in its IFRS earnings report.
Net profit, adjusted for impairment, fell to 14.3 billion rubles last year, from 17.1 billion rubles in 2014.
Earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) fell 6.8% in 2015 to 24.713 billion rubles, from 26.528 billion rubles in 2014.
EBITDA without adjustment for extraordinary effects fell 5% to 24.9 billion from 26.2 billion rubles, according to a company presentation.
Operating expenses grew 6.3% to 63 billion rubles. Sales revenue fell slightly, 1% to 76.7 billion rubles from 77.7 billion rubles.
Earnings fell mainly due to an outage at Surgutskaya-2 and a penalty for delay of commissioning of Berezovskaya unit 3. Without these effects earnings would have increased.
