Only experts, authorized organizations can evaluate quality of restoration work on culture objects - Peskov
MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov has referred the question of how well the restoration of the objects involved in the case involving embezzlement in the Culture Ministry was performed to experts and called against forming conclusions before the investigation is completed.
"The presidential administration is not an expert body that evaluates the quality of repair work," he told reporters.
Simultaneously, Peskov said that "media organizations and side observers are not such expert bodies."
He said there are specialized organizations and experts that are authorized to give evaluations or make decisions on this matter.
Peskov also called once again against making any accusations.
"An investigation is ongoing, let's respect the investigation, and at the same time, let's respect the principle of presumption of innocence before any court verdicts," he said.
