Russian oil output up 4%, gas down 1.5% in 2M - Rosstat

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Russia produced 90 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in January-February 2016, 4% more than in the same period of last year, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.

Natural gas production fell, by 1.5% to 98.7 billion cubic meters.

Associated petroleum gas production totaled 613.9 bcm, or 9.4% more than a year previously.

Oil refinery throughputs fell 3.6% to 46 million tonnes.

Output of refined products fell markedly: production was down 3.4% for gasoline, 4.1% for diesel and 21.6% for fuel oil.

However, lubricant production rose 23.9% in 2M 2016, propane and butane production rose 7.6% and dry gas - up 6.5%.
